Status of members of RSIAS

S T A T U T E
of full and associate members of RS/IAS.

As a full member (academic) of PS/IAS can be elected a candidate:

  • doctor of science, professor (holding a post of professor in High school or scientific institution);
  • actively involved in research or creative work, having considerable personal achievements in science, culture or art, with own, productive scientific school, disciples, achieved great scientific, creative and sport results;
  • agreed with the Charter of IAS and the charter of the Russian section of IAS and ready to make a personal contribution to the development of international cooperation of scientists and creative workers into scientific solution of urgent problems of mankind;
  • actively participating ( with financing as well) in preparation, organization and holding of actions under the aegis of RS/IAS, in promotion of international prestige of RS/IAS;

As associate member (corresponding member) of RS/IAS can be elected:

  • candidate of science, research officer, creative worker or lecturer and teacher, worker of science-promotional enterprise;
  • actively engaged in scientific, pedagogical, productive or creative work, having personal achievements in science, technics, culture, art;
  • concordant with the Charter of IAS and the charter of RS/IAS and prepared for a personal contribution to the development of international cooperation of scientists, industrial and creative workers and scientific solution of actual problems common to all mankind;
  • actively participating (with financing as well) in preparation, organization and holding of arrangements under the aegis of RS/IAS, that contribute to its prestige.

The decision about the election as a full member (academic) or associate member of RS/IAS after submission of necessary documents to Secretariat is taken at the meeting of Directorate of RS/IAS in presence of the candidate by a majority.

The decision of Directorate of RS/IAS is approved by Presidium of IAS in Munich, Germany.

A list of documents necessary for submission

  1. A filled questionnaire of a member of International Council of Scientific Development (in English) blank
  2. A filled form of a member of International Academy of Science (IAS) (in English) with the following data: place of work, position, academic status, addresses, tel. fax, e-mail blank
  3. Two color photos (4 X 5 cm).
  4. Reference (one-two pages), signed by a full member of IAS (in Russian).
  5. Curriculum Vitae (a short scientific biography with a list of main publications (in English).
